How to play BandLatch
BandLatch is a short-form tuning puzzle. Your goal is always the same: align frequency, focus, and gain with the hidden transmission before your stability budget runs out.
Core objective
- Pick one transmission card.
- Use the dial buttons or keyboard shortcuts to move each channel in steps of 10.
- Press Check lock to read the signal board.
- Get all three channels to Locked before stability reaches zero.
What the controls do
- Frequency moves the carrier up or down.
- Focus sharpens or blurs the signal body.
- Gain cools or heats the final output.
- Pulse sweep can be used once per transmission to reveal the biggest mismatch and the exact distance.
How to read the lock feedback
- Locked means that dial is correct.
- Near, push higher/lower means you are one step away.
- Too low or Too high means the dial is further off and you should keep moving in that direction.
Good first habits
- Check early so you do not drift three channels in the wrong direction.
- Save the sweep for the moment two dials feel close and one still feels messy.
- If you burn too much stability on one channel, restart fast and solve cleaner.
